DETAILED ITINERARY
 

Day 1 Paro

Arrive in Paro International Airport. Receive by our local representatives to escort you to Hotel. Afternoon visit the Museum and Paro Rinpung Dzong. Town stalling.
Overnight: Hotel in Paro.

Day 2: Paro
Drive to the Base of Popular Taktsang “Tiger’s Nest” and hike up to the Tiger Nest, the round trip takes about 4 Hours. Lunch at the Hotel. Drive and visit the Drukgyal Dzong “Ruin Fortress”. On the way back visit the Kyichu Monastery, one of the Oldest Monastery built in 659AD.
Overnight: Hotel in Paro.

Day 3: Paro – Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu. Drive takes about 2hours. First one hour you would be following the Pa-Chu (Paro River) and then crossing the Chunzom (the Paro and Thimphu River Meeting place) for another one hour you would be following the Thimphu River. Check in and lunch served at the Hotel. After Lunch visit the Memorial Stupa, Changangkha Monastery, Thimphu View Point and the Mini Zoo.
Over Night: Hotel in Thimphu.

Day 4: Thimphu
Visit the Nunnery, National Library, Art and Craft school and National Indigenous Hospital. Lunch in Town. After lunch visit the Textile Museum, Handicraft Emporium, Paper Factory and after 5PM visit the Thimphu Tashi ChoDzong.
Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu.

Samdingkha  
Day 5: Thimphu – Punakha
Drive to Punakha. Drive takes about 3hours. Stop at Dochula Pass 3150mts. to take pictures of the Eastern Himalayas. Drive to Wangdue another different District to visit the Wangdue Dzong. Lunch in Wangdue. Drive back to Punakha, which would take about 30 minutes.
Overnight: Camp or Hotel

Day 6: Punkha – Samdingkha
Drive up to Samdingkha, to start your full day of White Water River rafting on Pho-Chu (Male River) Raft down to Punakha town, Khuruthang on the way stop for lunch. If time permits then raft the Mo-Chu (Female River).
Overnight: Camp or Hotel.

Day 7: Samdingkha – Thimphu – Paro
Drive to Paro and it would take about 5Hours. Stop at Thimphu for Lunch and last shopping. Continue driving to paro.
Overnight: hotel in Paro.

Day 8: Paro
Drive to Haa Valley for day excursions. The round trip would take about 6Hours.Picnic lunch in Haa near the Ha-Chu (Ha river). Stop at Chelela Pass 3990Mts. Which is the highest pass in Bhutan and on a clear day one can get the magnificent view of Mt. Jhomolhari 7314mts. and Mt. Jichu Drake 6989mts. And also the great view of Paro Valley.

Day 9: Paro – Onward Journey
Drive to Paro International Airport for your departure and bid farewell by your Tour Guide and Tour Driver.
