Day 1
Pick up at Kathgodam Rly Station at 6.00am. Drive to
Nainital. Breakfast and freshening up in the town. Walk
to Chitrauli wild camps. Trekking and camping gear is
distributed and checked. Three hours walk to Kilbury
for lunch. Overnight in tents in Kilbury. Bonfire and
dinner at this haunted rest house.
Day 2
Early wake up. After breakfast walk down through
Pangot and up on to Ghughu Khan. This walk takes
about 3hrs. Lunch and camp here for the night.
Day 03
Early wake. After breakfast walk up to Kunjakharak
with packed lunch which can be had enroute. The
trail takes you through dense forest partly and
through grassy glades and sometimes crossing the
jeep track.
As you walk along you’ll find lots of sign
of the wild boar, kaleej pheasant, porcupine,
sambhar, the kakar(barking deer) and ocassionaly
the leopard. In the air the lammagier (devil of
the sky).Kunjakharak lies to the western end of
the Naini ridge and offers amazing views of the
sunset. Overnight camping in Kunjakharak.

Day 04
Early wake up and a jungle walk to Gangikharak to view
the early morning animals and birds and also to see
the amazing Deodar forest. Back to Kunjakharak for breakfast.
Jeep ride to Nainital for lunch.
