As we approach Kuari Pass through the Auli - Gorson
meadows, at an elevation of 4265m, we will be in the
heart of Chamoli District, in the NorthEastern part
of Garhwal.From Gorson, the imposing view of the eastern
peaks of Garhwal Himalayas is unforgettably enchanting.They
appear so near, That one feels like reaching out and
touching them. The peaks visible from Kuari pass are
nandanvan, Dunagri, Bethartloi, Devasthan, etc.
Day 1 : Rishikesh
All the participants are requested to assemble at GMVN
- Rest House, Muni-Ki-Reti, Rishikesh. Dinner and overnight
at TRH, Muni-Ki-Reti, Rishikesh.

for Chardham Yatra and gateway of Garhwal Himalayas,
Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers.

Day 2 : Auli
Drive to Auli 272 kms with lunch enroute. Dinner
and overnight at TRH Auli.

Description : Auli is nestled
in the lap of snow capped peaks of Garhwal Himalayas
in the Chamoli district of Uttaranchal. At an
altitude of 2500-3050 meters above sea level,
Auli well dressed slopes are flanked by coniferous
and Oak forests and offers a panormic view of
Mt. Nanddevi, Mana Parvat, Dunagiri, Hathi-Ghori
Parvat etc.
Auli has now become a leading tourist spot and
while its slops beckons daring and gallent skiing
enthusiasts, its pristine natural beauty and the
alpine atmosphere lure many a tourist who come
here for a variety of other reasons.

Day 3 : Tali
14 kms trek to Tali via Gorson with packed lunch. Dinner
and overnight in Tent.

: -Tali is a camping ground. Beside a small lake surrounded
by Forest. The view of Eastern Himalayas is most enchanting.

4 : Bagarbudda / Khulara
9 kms trek to Bagarbudda
/ Khulara with packed lunch Dinner and overnight
in Tent.

Day 5 : Bagarbudda
Early morning trek
to Kuari Pass 4 kms with packed breakfast and
lunch Afternoon return trek to Bagarbudda for
dinner and overnight in tents.

Description : -From Bagarbudda
camp one trail descends to Tapovan 18 kms and
other trails ascends to Kauri Pass 4 kms. From
here view of NandaDevi peak and others is enchanting

Day 6 : Joshimath
14 kms trek down to Tapovan
with packed lunch. Further 15 kms drive to Joshimath.
Dinner and overnight in TRH.

Description : It is the most important
town on route to Badrinath and is a major halting station.
Its religious history,magnificiant scenery, bracing
climate and well stocked market provide the visitor
with all he needs for a holiday or a pilgrimage. The
ancient name of Joshimath was Jyotirmath because Adi
Guru Shankaracharya attained englightenment here in
a cave. In this cave he wrote his famous Shankar Bhasya
and set forth in the great task of reviving the Hindu
religion.
Local Sites : Narshinga temple,Durga
temple,Tapovan, Kalpvirsha,Shankaracharya cave and Shankaracharya
math.
Day 7 : Rishikesh
256 kms drive to Rishikesh.
Lunch enroute. Arrival Rishikesh.
