DETAILED ITINERARY
 

Day 01: Arrival Bangalore

Arrival Bangalore morning/Evening. Pick up from the Airport, Railway Station. Transfer to Hotel.Later go for a sightseeing of Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Tippu’s Palace, Bull Temple, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha. Overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 02: Bangalore - Mysore (140km – 4 hrs)
Leave Bangalore in the morning for Mysore enroute visit the spectacular island fortress of Srirangapatnam, the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan, Tippu’s Palace, Gumbaz, Tippu’s Summer Palace. Reach Mysore and settle down in hotel. Visit Illuminated Brindavan Gardens and Krishnarajasagar Dam in the evening. Overnight stay at Mysore.

Day 03: Mysore
This morning visit the sprawling Maharaja’s Palace with its outstanding treasures and ivory inlaid doors.

The interior is also lavishly decorated with stained glass, mirrors, pillars, paintings and jewels. Later drive outside the city to Chamundi Hill and the huge Nandi Bull statue, St. Philomena’s Church & Mysore Zoo. Overnight stay at Mysore.


Day 04: Mysore - Ooty (160km – 5 hrs)

Early morning after breakfast we proceed to Ooty enroute visit Bandipur Wild Life Sanctuary and Fresh tea gardens.

Arrive at Ooty and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for sight seeing which includes Ooty Lake, Botanical Gardens, Dodda Betta, etc. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 05: Ooty
Today you will proceed to Coonoor to look from close quarter the Tea Gardens, Sim’s Park, Dolphin’s Nose. Later back to Ooty visiting Film shooting points. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 06: Ooty - Kodaikanal (270km – 6.5 hrs)
After early morning breakfast proceed to Kodaikanal enroute visit Palani Temples, Arrive at Kodaikanal and check-in at the Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.
Kodiakanal   Day 07: Kodaikanal
Today the whole day is free. You may choose to visit the Kodaikanal Lake, spread over an area of 60 acres and surrounded by wooded slopes.

The attractive walk around the lake takes between one and a half hours. Additionally, you have the option of boating or fishing. In and around Kodaikanal to visit Cocker’s Walk, Golf Links, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls, Bear Shola Falls & the Lake etc. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

Day 08: Kodaikannal – Bangalore(500Km – 13 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Bangalore. Evening reach Bangalore in the evening. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 09: Departure Bangalore
Depart as per schedule to the Airport/ Railway station at Bangalore for your onward journey.
