DETAILED ITINERARY
 


Day 01 Delhi
Your tour will start upon arrival at Delhi International Airport. Our local representative will welcome you and take you to your hotel. Check-in hotel.
Over Night: stay at hotel.

Day 02 Delhi-Jaipur (260 kms)
Morning drive to Jaipur - known as "The Pink City of Rajasthan". Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, the City Palace and its museum, the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds.
Over Night: stay at hotel.

Day 03 Jaipur
After taking breakfast at hotel visit the majestic Amber Fort, is one that cannot be easily described. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Amber Fort (also known as Amer Fort) is located 11 km from Jaipur. Set on the banks of Maota Lake, this grand fort was built by Raja Man Singh with later additions by Raja Jai Sigh I and Raja Jai Singh II. Raja Man Singh, who was an important military leader in the army of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, began this fort in 1592. Amber Fort was later used by the Kachwaha rulers as their capital. Tourists can enter Amber Fort by riding on elephant back up to the impressive Singh Pol gateway.

Visit Jaigarh Fort - Jaigarh or Fort of Victory was constructed by Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur in 1726. This grand fort has the largest wheeled cannon or Jaivan perched on its battlements. Jaigarh Fort was used as the treasury of the royal family of Jaipur. The Fort offers superb views of Jaipur town and the nearby Amber Fort. The fortifications, museum and the ingenious water storage system are worth seeing on your tour of Jaigarh Fort.
Evening is free for shopping.

Day 04 Jaipur-Agra (232 kms)
Morning Drive to Agra. Enroute visit the Ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri - built by Emperor Akbar in 1569. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. Arrive Agra. Upon arrival check-in at hotel.
Evening is free for leisure.
Over Night: stay at hotel.

Day 05 Agra
The morning you will visit famous Taj Mahal - Monument to Love which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. Other attractions are Agra fort built by Akbar the Great, Sikandra and Itmad-ud-Daula bullt by Empress Noor-Jehan in memory of her father. Evening is free to explore Colorful Bazar of Agra.

Day 06 Agra-Jhansi-Orchha-Khajuraho
Morning board the train for Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi in the afternoon. Drive to Khajuraho. Enroute visit to Orchha. Arrive Khajuraho and check-in hotel. Overnight at hotel. Later drive to Khajuraho-Chandela Dynasty Temples which are set in a lovely grassy park. The Temples are quite amazing-rising in many peaks and spiral, intricately carved and designed with statues and friezes, some of which are the renowned erotic carvings.

Day 07 Khajuraho
Morning visit the world famous Khajuraho temples. The Chandelas between 950 AD and 1050 AD built these temples which are world famous for their erotic sculptures. The important temples are Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, the Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva. Visit the Eastern group of Temples. The series of Jain temples in Khajuraho include Parasvanath Temple and Adinath Temple. The Javeri Temple, Brahma temple, Yamuna temple are other important temples. Arrive at Agra.

Day 08 Khajuraho-Varanasi
Fly to The holy city - Varanasi. Visit some of the many Hindu Temples that line the river Gangas & Boat excursion on the Holy River Gangas to see the Bathing ghats and crimination sites. Watching people bathing and worshiping at the ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. Stroll along the narrow lanes and bazars full of shops selling, among other things, the world-famous Banaras Silks.

Day 09 Varanasi-Kathmandu
Morning visit Sarnath, the sight of Buddhas first sermon. Fly to Kathmandu- The unique and fascinating capital of the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.
Over Night: stay at hotel.

 


Day 10 Kathmandu
After taking breakfast at hotel be ready for the city tour of Kathmandu. visit the Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, Mahadev temple, Parvati Temple and even other temples.
Over Night: stay at hotel.

Day 11 Kathmandu
After taking breakfast at hotel the day is free for leisure
Over Night: stay at hotel.

Day 12 Kathmandu-Delhi
Today transfer to Airport to board the flight to Delhi.
